After having some fun with top 12 words, you are probably curious to learn some more. Now we start focusing on the 300 words of Hit Parade in Princeton Review, because they are easy to memorize for beginners.

GRE High Frequently Used Words (1)

GRE verbal is always very challenging. It is best to have a solid foundation of vocabs before practising the Big Book tests. In my experience, knowing the high-frequency-words is priority, because you need something motivative first. Also, it is easier and more digestive if you take the words little by little, piece by piece. I am hence introducing the top 12 GRE words from Kaplan verbal workbook.

The top 12 words on the GRE are:
  1. ANOMALY
  2. EQUIVOCAL
  3. ERUDITE
  4. LUCID
  5. OPAQUE
  6. PRECIPITATE
  7. PRODIGAL
  8. ENIGMA
  9. FERVID
  10. PLACATE
  11. ZEAL
  12. ASSUAGE
There are some words you do not know or kind of know. Look up and start making flash cards for those words, repeat reviewing the flash cards as many times as possible.
